Nocturnal Worlds listening zone

Grab a beanbag in the Atrium, pop on your headphones and immerse yourself in the sound worlds of some of Australia’s most elusive creatures.

Take a moment to stop, rest and RESET, as you listen to the sounds of nature. The Atrium will be set up as a relaxing chill zone, for you to take some time out to listen to one of four Nocturnal Worlds soundscapes – produced by Audiocraft in collaboration with the Australian Museum.

Download your episode of choice to your own device, sink into a beanbag and enter the mysterious nighttime habitat of the powerful owl, long-finned eel, mountain pygmy possum or the green sea turtle.

Nocturnal Worlds invites you to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with Australia’s unique nocturnal ecosystems.
