A hands-on workshop and evolving art installation, where everyone is invited to build, play and connect with nature – through mud.
Inspired by ancient building practices, you’ll get to work with cob – a squishy, sculptable mix of earth, sand, water and straw that’s fun to play with and kind to the planet.
Sculpt giant mud creatures, engineer a tiny cob house, or just enjoy the simple joy of squishing earth through your fingers. Add your creations to our growing cob metropolis, race handmade earth balls through a mini obstacle course, or design your own muddy masterpiece.
Led by a team of artists, architects and sculptors with a passion for sustainability and community art, Earth Children is a playful space where imagination and curiosity run wild and mess is absolutely encouraged (but not required!).
Come get gloriously muddy these school holidays at Fed Square!
