We recently closed our Knot at Home competition, where we challenged you all to create your own Knot, at home!
Here were our winners:
Mr Macrame won our open competition for his entry “Knotton Candy”: an edible sculpture made of fizzer lollies and drumsticks.
Ziggy (8) won our junior competition for his pink-clothes sculpture entry. Well done, Ziggy!
Kelly came runner up in our open comp for her “Knot-in-a-jar” entry.
Indigo came runner up in our junior competition for his “Octo-square” entry.
Our winners won a $300 Deans Art gift voucher and our runners up won a $100 voucher. Well done to all entrants! We were very impressed with all your submissions.
While you can’t visit the Knot, why KNOT make your own?
Bust out the scissors and the pipe cleaners, the googly eyes and that old pink velour tracksuit you’ll never wear again and let’s get cracking for your chance to win up to $300 in art supplies!
Well, you don’t actually have to make The Knot (it’s pretty big), but you can use it as inspiration to make something fun, creative, and bold.
You might want to make it pink! You might want to make it complicated and twisty …You might want to use some old Christmas lights to make it light up!
It’s really up to you and your ingenious spirit of artistic innovation.
As motivator, we’ll be awarding our FAVE Knot-themed art project a $300 Deans Art voucher. Woohoo! And for the youngsters, we’ve got a Junior comp (for 12s and under), and we’ll award our fave entry a $300 voucher as well.
Sweet as!
We can-KNOT wait to see what you come up with.
