This summer, as we emerge from lockdown restrictions with hope in our hearts, we are preparing a knock-your-socks-off curated program of activity and installation at Fed Square, celebrating all things uniquely Victorian.
Taking inspiration from Melbourne’s street art scene, the iconic Victorian Silo Art Trail and a hearty dose of our Anything But Square ethos, it’s set to be bright, bold, bigger than Ben-Hur – and the place to be this summer.
Patrons can explore a new outdoor immersive playground full of enormous, crazy-cute, colourful, light-up Cupid water fountains by ENESS that will follow their movements and squirt water at them.
They can wander through the Mini Silo Art Trail featuring works curated by Juddy Roller (founder of Victoria’s Art Silo Trail).
And then they can kick back and enjoy upgraded Fed Oasis chill zones complete with specially designed deckchairs featuring the works of well-known street artists Mysterious Al, Sofles and George Rose.
This summer’s programming features a full calendar of big screen cinema classics, live music and entertainment, including Candlelight Concerts, a summer of major sporting events, including the Australian Open, and more.
Plenty of action. We invite you to get on board.
