Yarra River Clean Up

In partnership with the Yarra Riverkeeper Association, Fed Square will host a clean-up of the Yarra (Birrarung) River during Sustainable September.  

Come join in this community clean-up activity and help protect our waterways by clearing litter around the Yarra River. The litter will then be recycled, to protect marine life and our environment.

Bring the kids and help them learn about the importance of community action and protecting our waterways. All are welcome!

In February 2023, Yarra Riverkeeper Association will be paddling down the Yarra River in a kayak made out of plastic bottles and lids to raise awareness about the environmental impact of plastic littering.  See the kayaks in the making in the Atrium Fracture Gallery, where you can also learn more about the Yarra Riverkeeper Association’s ethos and latest projects.
