<p>The Huxleys are a dynamic duo of cataclysmic proportions who present a visual assault of sparkle, surrealism and the absurd. Working across visual art, performance and fashion. Their luminescent art traverses the classifications of photography, costume and film. Saturating their practice with a glamorous, androgynous freedom they aim to bring some escapism and magic to everyday life.</p>

<h2>Visit Santa in his workshop this Festive season – and don’t forget to bring your camera for a pic!</h2>
<p>Santa and his elves are hard at work in his Melbourne workshop, making toys and presents for the big day. It’s a busy time of year and there’s lots of tools and machinery to help Santa get ready. Say hello to the big man and pose for a photo from a socially safe distance.</p>
<p>You do not need to book in to take a photo, but please note there may be a small wait time during busy periods.</p>
<p><em>On rare occasions, Santa can&#8217;t make it in to his Workshop. To avoid disappointment, we recommend checking our Instagram stories or Twitter updates before you make a trip in to see him – to see if there are any Santa updates.</em></p>
<p>This is a Christmas Festival event, presented by City of Melbourne with support from the Victorian Government and Fed Square.</p>

<h2>Christmas in the Square</h2>
<p>Get ready to get Fed festive, as we are turning up the fun dial to the max to celebrate the silly season, being out and about again – and being able to properly say hello, Melbourne!</p>
<p>Of course, all your favourites will be back: Christmas Square, featuring the HUGE 16metre-high Christmas tree and ever-popular Santa’s Workshop for all those cute happy snaps with the big guy in red.</p>
<p>While you’re there, you must also drop by to have a selfie with Fred and Fifi, dressed in their finest Christmas-themed get-up – they’re enormous light-up sculpture installations, thanks to the creative mastery of the team at A Blanck Canvas.</p>
<p>Rounding out the action is the Pillars of Light festival for Chanukah; Koorie Kristmas with the Koorie Heritage Trust; Christmas in the Wizarding World at Fed Square, featuring a not-to-be-missed live performance from the cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child; followed closely by Wizard Week, where we&#8217;re screening all the Harry Potter films up on the Big Screen, marathon-style; a santa-sack-packed program of your fave Christmas films; the Fed Christmas Workshop series, featuring a sure-to-be-a-hot-ticket Christmas Wreath workshop with Melbourne floristry icon Flowers Vasette; and heaps more!</p>

<p>Get ready, witches, wizards and Muggles – we’re screening all the Harry Potter films, in order, marathon-style, this Wizard Week at Fed Square. The deckchairs will be out, so it’s time to pull our your finest yuletide robes – and we’ll see you there! Presented by Fed Square in partnership with Roadshow Films.</p>
<p>Make sure you get there early and use the special daily code word to nab a free ice-cream – choc-top or sorbet – at the stand near the Big Screen! But hurry, numbers strictly limited. Please be aware that free ice-cream will not be available on 24 December.</p>
