The Coming Back Out Salon is a much-loved celebration of older LGBTIQ+ people.
This glorious afternoon soiree is the perfect chance to connect, dance together and be serenaded by some of Melbourne’s most fabulous LGBTIQ+ performers.
Following presentations at Sydney Town Hall, State Library Victoria, and Myer Mural Hall, The Coming Back Out Salon comes to Fed Square for the first time. It is a chance for the whole LGBTIQ+ and allied community to come together, to honour the past, present and future.
This year’s Salon will feature performances from incredible vocalists from Naarm/Melbourne including Robyn Archer, Tina Del Twist, Nefertiti LaNegra, Ash Flanders, Nicolette Forte, JXCKY, June Jones and 2Joocee, with live piano accompaniment Toni Lalich and a repertoire of uplifting classics and queer anthems. Together, they will transform The Edge into an inclusive cabaret-style ballroom where everyone belongs on the dance floor
Booking essential. Drinks and sweet treats on arrival.
Presented by All The Queens Men for the Victorian Seniors Festival with support from Creative Australia, City of Melbourne and Fed Square
