All about flowers. Learn about designing colour and beauty into gardens or join in a paper flower-making workshop.
Our monthly Test Garden Open Days are designed for garden and plant lovers.
You can choose to register for one or both sessions, although numbers are limited and usually fill up fast. You will need to book for these sessions separately.
This event is held outdoors in the Test Garden at Fed Square. Please bring a hat and water bottle.
Presented by Fed Square in partnership with Bupa.
Join us for a conversation with Jac Semmler, plant practitioner and director of Super Bloom, and Jaclyn Crupi, author and gardener. Taking a deep dive into the floral abundance of the Test Garden with Jac’s new book Flower Power, the talk will explore planting design, beauty and colour in the garden.
Please arrive from 10am; talk to begin at 10.30am.

Join acclaimed illustrator and artist Beci Orpin to create paper flowers inspired by the foliage and flowers in the Test Garden. Using different papers, watercolours and a range of materials, participants will explore simple techniques to add colour, texture and dimension, and experiment with layering, shaping and construction to transform flat paper into sculptural botanical forms.
