Play It Forward

After thirteen years at the artistic helm of the award winning Choir of Hard Knocks, ARIA, Logie and Helpmann award winning singer, conductor, composer and social justice advocate, Dr Jonathon Welch AM, has now launched his vision and legacy for the future of inclusive arts programs in Australia, Play It Forward. Combining decades of professional arts practice, knowledge and passion for music, Jonathon looks beyond his original ‘street choir’ concept, inviting Australians of all ages and backgrounds to now participate in Play It Forward.

Play It Forward programs are founded and developed on a truly collaborative, multisectorial approach that combines professional music industry and community arts practitioners and disciplines, together with the health, education, research, welfare, volunteer, government and corporate sectors, delivering the most unique range of diverse, tailored arts programs and events nationally, including Social Inclusion Week and Melbourne International Singers Festival.
