State Memorial Service for Judith Durham AO

A State Memorial Service will be held to honour and celebrate the life of Ms Judith Durham AO and we will be screening the service on the Big Screen.

Judith was an enormously talented and successful musician, best known as lead singer of 1960s folk/pop group The Seekers. A classically trained pianist, Judith recorded her first EP with Frank Traynor’s Jazz Preachers in 1963 and joined the Seekers shortly after.

Alongside Judith, The Seekers comprised Athol Guy AO, Keith Potger AO and Bruce Woodley AO. They released their debut album Introducing The Seekers in 1963.
