Shut Up & Dance With Me Saturdays at Transport Public Bar

Saturday nights in Melbourne just got an upgrade. From 6 September, Transport Public Bar is rolling out a brand-new live music format, Shut Up & Dance With Me Saturdays, bringing back-to-back bands and big, feel-good energy every week in the Glasshouse.

Things kick off with an early band from 5pm–8pm, perfect for settling in with a drink and warming up the night. Then from 8.45pm until late, the headliner takes over — some of Melbourne’s best live acts serving up the kind of music that keeps the vibe buzzing and the night rolling.

And because live music is even better with a drink in hand, there’s a Late Night Happy Hour from 9pm–11pm every Saturday. Expect $10 Vodka Lime Sodas, $10 House Shots, $10 glasses of bubbles, $12 pints (including the much-loved Transport Lager) and $12 classic cocktails — a line-up almost as good as the music itself.

Right in the middle of the action, opposite Flinders Street Station, Transport is as central as it gets. It’s easy to drop in whether you’re meeting mates before a show, catching up after the footy, or just looking for a last-minute plan that doesn’t involve a cover charge.
