The the full lineup below, some with explanatory blurbs –  we’ve got some truly wonderful and inspired pieces to see, running from 5:00pm to 8:30pm until Wonder Woman starts!

Cassie de Colling & Liv Cheung – BesideNotBehind

A public service announcement made by female crew in the Australian Film and TV industry for International Women’s Day. Written, shot, edited and released in a 3-week time span, #BesideNotBehind plays on the old saying that “Behind every great man is a great woman” and promotes the message that support can, and should, go both ways. The conversation around gender equality and feminism needs to change from divisive messages of “women vs men” and “us and them” but how we need to work together in the gender debate to make positive change happen.

Bonnie Moir & Liv Cheung – Jumpwoman

In an alternate reality, in 1996, where the biggest superstar in the world is Michelle Jordan, not Michael Jordan, a talented and young 10y/o basketballer called Grace writes a letter to her basketball idol. An aspirational tribute in commemoration to International Women’s Day and the female role models in the sporting arena.

Alice Stephens & Anoop Lokkur – Laundromatte

A girl finds more than just her clean laundry at the laundromat.

Nikki Richardson & Alice Stephens – Cannot Predict Now

Greta Nash – Two Piece

On the way to the beach, 13-year-old Ava goes shopping for her first bikini with her Mum and younger brother Wally.

Hannah Ariotti & Ashley Barron – Word Association

Michelle Joy – This Place

An outsider travels to Slab City, also known as the last free place in America, and finds hope in an unexpected place, where everyone and everything has a second chance.

Emma Leslie & Lily Davis – Briella

Josephine Croft – Hitting Zero Series

Hitting Zero: A legacy is a documentary about SCC Legacy, an Australia Underdog team, and their inspiring journey to the World Championships. It showcases just how competitive a sport Cheerleading is, and lays down the extremely hard work it takes for a team to be competing at the highest level. The seven part series, takes you behind the scenes as the team prepares to fight for a flawless routine with zero deductions. You’ll see them fail, and get back up again. You’ll see sweat, some tears and a hell of a lot of fight.

Vanessa Cox – ‘Tell Me When It’s Over’ by Great Aunt

Clare Bowditch & Lucy Knox – Woman

Vannessa Cox & Dark Fair – Off Into My Head

Melbourne two piece Dark Fair explore relationships from different perspectives in their song Off Into My Head. The hard hitting drums and dreamy guitar play out in a puppy therapy session. Can the ever successful Pawline Paws help Ellie and goegeous Benson work through their issues?

Imogen Grist & Lily Davis – The Kite String Tangle – Give It Time
