Getting There

In She-Oak and Sunlight: Australian Impressionism more than 250 artworks from collections around Australia come together in one spectacular exhibition.

Don’t miss the most celebrated works of Tom Roberts, Frederick McCubbin, Jane Sutherland, Arthur Streeton, Charles Conder, Clara Southern, John Russell and more.

Exhibition tickets are available to either purchase online at ngv.melbourne or onsite at NGV Australia, Fed Square. On Level 3 guests can also complete their experience with Victorian High Tea made with all local produce while taking in views of the Yarra River.

Now showing alongside Australian Impressionism at NGV Australia, Fed Square, are two other standout exhibitions to see for free.

Big Weather is an important Indigenous exhibition that recognises the sophisticated appreciation of weather systems that exist within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural knowledge.

Celebrating new emerging talent, Top Arts 2021 is an annual favourite that showcases the exceptional work of students who completed Art or Studio Arts as part of their VCE studies last year.
