Run the Riverkeeper

Karin Traeger, CEO of The Yarra Riverkeeper Association is set to run 280kms to Celebrate World Rivers Day (25 September) and raise awareness and money to promote a healthy, protected and loved Yarra/Birrarung River.

Run the Riverkeeper is an epic journey from source to mouth. The run will take place over six days, connecting natural wonders with local communities and sharing stories of the catchment. A run like this has never been done before.

To support Yarra Riverkeeper Association’s vision they humbly ask you to donate and/or share the campaign. They’re aiming to raise $100,000 to support their key advocacy and stewardship activities.

As a special treat Karen will be making her way past Fed Square on Friday 30 September at approximately 3:30pm and she’ll be taking some photos on the way through, so come down to cheer her on during her inspiring journey.
