Getting There

Young people should grow up believing anything is possible – that they have opportunities in their lives to shape the world they live in.

Following the May 2022 election, Australia has its most diverse Parliament ever. But representation is not only about “who” is in Parliament, it is also about “how” these representatives are empowered to push forward the interests of the diverse groups they represent.

Join us to discuss and build a youth agenda to guide the work of our new government and our Youth Minister, Anne Aly. We will talk about a broad range of issues that disproportionately impact young people from mental health to climate change.

Speakers include:

  • Sashi Perera, MC
  • Liyah Knight, Performer
  • Tarang Chawla, Multicultural Commissioner
  • Panelists are Abiola Ajetomobi, Former Director of the ASRC Innovation Hub and Shani Cain, Former CEO of Oaktree

More to be announced.
