Getting There

Join us at Fed Square for a truly unforgettable evening of live music as we celebrate Midsumma Festival and showcase some of the biggest queer music icons in the industry. This special Candlelight Concert will feature a lineup of talented performers who are all members of or supporters of the LGBTQIA+ community, making it an inclusive and safe space for everyone to enjoy.

The music for the evening will span a variety of genres and feature some of the most iconic and beloved songs of all time. From Madonna’s Like a Virgin and Papa Don’t Preach to George Michael’s Faith and Careless Whisper, and from Cher’s If I Could Turn Back Time and Strong Enough to Judy Garland’s The Man That Got Away, this concert is sure to have something for everyone. We’ll also be paying tribute to the legendary David Bowie with performances of Space Oddity, Modern Love, and Dancing in the Street, and we’ll be featuring some of ABBA’s most iconic hits, including Dancing Queen, Waterloo, and The Winner Takes It All.

But that’s not all – as the night goes on, the atmosphere will only get more electric as the music fills the air and the glow of thousands of twinkling candles surrounds the stage. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see some of the biggest names in music live in action, all while enjoying the beautiful setting of Fed Square. Don’t miss out on this amazing event – mark your calendars now and plan to join us for the Queer Icons Candlelight concert with Fever. It’s going to be a night to remember!

We’ll also have free ice cream from Cups n Cones available for the first 150 people from 7.30pm.

This is an accessible event.
