The PolMusicA project promotes Polish music in Australia. Through the competition of young talents, this builds a cultural connection. It shows Polish music in the best possible performances and shades.
12pm – The Spirit of Poland – prof. Paweł Zawadzki (Poland) plays Antoni Stolpe, a forgotten Polish composer. The program will feature Konrad Olszewski, Adam Piechociński with works by outstanding Polish composers.
1pm – Children’s Festival – official award ceremony and presentations of the participants of the non-competitive part of PolMusicA. Foreword by the Vice President of the Polish Community Council of Australia, Małgorzata Kwiatkowska.
1.30pm – Final Auditions of PolMusicA 2023 participants.
4.30pm – performance of the POLONEZ, Song and Dance Ensemble and the Chopin Jazz Quartet led by Kamil Rawdanowicz
5pm – Official Announcement of the results of the PolMusicA 2023 competition and the award ceremony. Foreword by the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Sydney, Monika Kończyk.
