To celebrate legendary natural historian, broadcaster and environmental advocate David Attenborough’s 100th birthday, enjoy a free screening of his 2025 documentary Ocean on the Big Screen.
Born on 8 May 1926 in West London, David Attenborough studied natural sciences at Cambridge before joining the BBC in 1952 as a trainee producer. Throughout his eight-decade career he has pioneered the nature documentary, sharing his curiosity in and love of the natural world with generations.
Over the past few decades, Attenborough has become more vocal in his advocacy for environmental issues, and has used his platform to communicate the impacts of climate change and human activities on the natural world.
In Ocean with David Attenborough, he explores our planet’s vast undersea habitats, emphasising the ocean’s vital importance while highlighting the devastating impacts of deep-sea trawlers and overfishing on marine life.
