Nongkrong returns to the Square this Valentine’s Day, inviting Melbournians to fall in love with Indonesian food, music, dance and community.
In Indonesian culture, twilight marks the time when people come together to unwind, eat, enjoy music and reconnect with community. This free, family-friendly event transforms the Square into a pasar senja (twilight fair), inviting you to ‘nongkrong’ (hang out) as the sun sets over Melbourne’s skyline.
Bring your loved ones and share the sights, sounds and flavours of Indonesian culture and community.
What to expect:
All are welcome to come nongkrong and explore a lively showcase of contemporary Australian-Indonesian culture.
Full program drops early 2026. Stay tuned!
Presented by Fed Square and Nongkrong as part of Open Air at the Square.
