On the eve of January 26, you’re invited to join us to watch this year’s Sunset Ceremony on our Big Screen, thanks to NITV and SBS, featuring insightful discussion, ceremony and performances.
Commencing at 7.30pm AEDT (Wednesday 25 January), the two-hour show is broadcast from Sydney Harbour and is hosted by Wuthathi and Meriam man John Paul Janke (The Point) and Whadjuk Noongar woman and Network 10’s Narelda Jacobs (Studio 10, 10 News First Midday, The Point).
The program will feature a panel of First Nations voices reflecting on what 26 January means to them at an important time in the national conversation, joined by guests providing perspectives from multicultural communities.
There will also be musical performances from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists throughout the show.
Program guests include Ernie Dingo, Brooke Blurton, Rhoda Roberts, Steven Oliver and Professor Megan Davis.
