Musica Viva: Arcadia Winds

The trailblazing Arcadia Winds offer up an eclectic program and a moment of reflection when they give the world premiere of a work by Australian composer Sam Wu, inspired by the extraordinary efforts of ICU workers during the pandemic.

*World premiere performance. Sam Wu’s work was commissioned by Carrillo Gantner AC and Ziyin Gantner to honour all the doctors, nurses and other health workers who committed themselves with such courage and selflessness to save lives in hospital Intensive Care Units during the pandemic of 2020–21.
