MINA – the Mobile Innovation Network and Association – presents a screening of smartphone, mobile and pocket films from their 14th annual film festival, on the Big Screen.
MINA is the longest-running film festival dedicated to celebrating mobile and smartphone film-making internationally. MINA creates connections between filmmakers, communities and the creative industries.
Curated by MINA founder, Max Schleser, each day’s scheduled film program will focus on one of MINA’s mobile storytelling and smartphone filmmaking categories: New Voices – Next Gen Smartphone filmmaking, Creative Category and #EcoSmartphoneFilms.

MINA’s new voices program will feature work by emerging filmmakers, artists and activists. The program includes experimental films, socially engaged and community-based narratives, and mobile social media stories.

#EcoSmartphoneFilms is a new special program within MINA with a selection of the best and smartest environmentally themed mobile films. #ESF is exploring mobile stories and creative solutions for all kinds of environmental issues in the form of eco-centred short documentaries, narrative movies, experimental or animation short films, all shot on mobile.
