Melbourne Harmony Festival celebrates the shared music, culture and arts of the Eastern Mediterranean People. These cultures existed for thousands of years in Ancient Greece, Hittite, Mesopotamia and Egypt. Their music is unique and exotic with unusual scales and time signatures. Their instruments inherited from ancient times include ouds, saz, tar, kemence, laouto, lyra, ney and many more.
