Flag Hoisting: Indian Independence Day Celebrations
Come and join us as we celebrate India’s 71st year of Independence with a traditional flag hoisting ceremony at 11am on Saturday 11th of August, with a line up of amazing music and dance performances from 10.30am.
India’s most celebrated actress and queen of Bollywood, Rani Mukerji, will be our honoured guest to hoist the flag this year.
Telstra Bollywood dance competition
From 12pm you can catch all the foot tapping action at the Telstra Bollywood Dance Competition where teams come from all over the country to dance and perform.
The competition will be judged by Malaika Arora Khan, Nikkhil Advani, Avtar Panesar. The pulsating environment, the lively music and electrifying energy is sure to get you dancing, so come along and groove to them desi tunes!
