Homelessness Week starts on Sunday August 5 with an extraordinary experience you won’t want to miss with two concerts in one afternoon.
“Street Requiem” remembers the innocent who have perished, while offering hope for the future to people and communities struggling with homelessness, poverty, discrimination and street violence.
This modern classic will be conducted by composer, singer and social-inclusionist extraordinaire Dr Jonathon Welch, and stars world-renowned soprano Rosamund Illing, backed by the beautiful harmonies of THECHO!R, the Choir of Hard Knocks and the Sing The World choir.
It will be followed by the world premiere of “TATTOO”, an amazing new work written by the inspirational Choir of Hard Knocks in collaboration with the incomparable Warren Wills.
Proceeds will support the marvellous work of the School of Hard Knocks.
