Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikh faith, created a profound legacy of peace, compassion, and universal humanity. Central to his teachings is the concept of Langgar — a free communal meal open to all, regardless of background. It represents not just the act of sharing food but the deeper principles of equality, humility, and selfless service.

Guru Nanak’s Legacy: Multi Faith Langgar celebrates this timeless tradition and its message of creating inclusive, harmonious communities. Through a day of reflection, shared meals, and community engagement, the event will honour Guru Nanak’s vision of a world rooted in kindness and mutual respect.

The event will feature inspirational talks and video about Guru Nanak’s life and teachings, live devotional music (Kirtan), and opportunities for attendees to experience free community food (Langgar). The act of coming together to cook, serve, and eat as equals is a powerful reminder that peace and compassion start with small, everyday actions.

In a world that often feels divided, this event invites everyone to experience the spirit of compassion, peace, forgiveness and unity that Guru Nanak championed. It is an opportunity to not only learn about Sikh values but to live them through active participation and open-hearted dialogue.

Individuals of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome to join in this celebration. Together, attendees will honour a legacy that transcends time, borders, and differences — building a future grounded in peace, compassion, and forgiveness.
