Fed Square is incredibly proud to partner with The Grid Presents in an exciting panel Q&A on Melbourne’s future.

This week, some of Australia’s most influential entrepreneurs, business leaders and government representatives will come together at Fed Square to officially mark the launch of The Grid – a global festival for future business and ideas, touted for 2022.

The Grid Presents is a lead-up event spear-headed, and hosted, by business leader and recent 3AW radio personality Russel Howcroft. The event features panel discussions with some of Victoria’s leading minds speaking to questions vital to our situation, and bringing important conversation to the community.

Hear from broadcaster and entrepreneur Luke Darcy, youth advocate Yasmin Poole, Fed Square’s own Chief Experience Officer Suzana Bishop, and more, on ways in which we can lead positive charge with a transformative experience to re-energise the economy, reopen the state, and redefine Melbourne as an optimistic and energised city.

The Grid Presents offers a unique opportunity to experiment, cross-pollinate ideas and create a forum of public discourse that cultivates innovation.

Live-streaming at 11:00am 10 December.

The Grid is a global festival for future business and ideas. Named after Melbourne’s ‘Hoddle Grid’, and inspired by events like South by Southwest, The Grid’s main festival event will be held in Melbourne in 2022. Rolling out over 3 days it will feature speakers from around the world, and is set to create a real economic impact for Victoria.

Over the next 12 months, The Grid will embark on a series of diverse lead up events in unique locations across Melbourne and Victoria. How we live is no longer constrained by where we live and The Grid aims to lead the charge with a transformative experience to re-energise the economy, reopen the state and the nation.

The Grid is supported by Fed Square, Nine, Visit Victoria and City of Melbourne.

“Our mission is to re-invigorate Melbourne, create a unique opportunity to experiment, cross-pollinate ideas and establish an open forum of public discourse that cultivates true innovation and nurtures the business and ideas community, ultimately putting Australian minds on a global stage.” – Russel Howcroft.
