Joseph O’Farrell (JOF) is a creative director, producer, musician and community artist making work internationally from his home base in Naarm (Melbourne).
JOF creates large-scale installation/ theatre works with, and for, community that celebrates diversity and brings people together in hilarious and unlikely situations.

Garage Band is back for the fourth year, to turn up the volume on Victoria’s next generation of musicians.
Fed Square team up with internationally acclaimed artist, JOF, to present the best emerging artists from across the state at a huge multi-stage event.
Garage Band aims to amplify the voices of Victoria’s next generation of musicians through a process of workshops and mentorship, culminating in a huge day of performances.

Nongkrong returns to the Square this Valentine&#8217;s Day, inviting Melbournians to fall in love with Indonesian food, music, dance and community.
Fed Square will transform into a pasar senja (twilight fair), where live Indonesian music, dance, food and handmade goods come together as the sun sets over the city. The free, family-friendly event reimagines the Indonesian tradition of gathering at dusk to eat, unwind and most importantly, nongkrong (hang out) with community.
What to expect:
<ul>
<li>A vibrant, eclectic line up of seven live music acts and three dance performances. Headliners include Ali (IDN), Candra Darusman (IDN), Komang, and Suara Dance (SYD).</li>
<li>Food stalls and gerobaks (food carts) serving Indonesian and Australian-Indonesian deliciousness from five food vendors.</li>
<li>Senja Design Market, an Indonesian design market with handmade goods and exclusive merch.</li>
<li>A hands-on, pop-in weaving workshop with artist Patriot Mukmin.</li>
</ul>
All are welcome to come nongkrong and explore a lively showcase of contemporary Australian-Indonesian culture.

A special DJ sunset session showcasing the music of the fab four like you&#8217;ve never heard before! Get ready to dance, Melbourne.
Beatles fans, you&#8217;re gonna love, love, love this one – from packing out stages at Glastonbury and beyond, DJ Chris Arnold is coming to the Square to take you on a magical mystery tour of his collection of covers, remixes and tracks that sampled arguably the greatest band that ever existed – The Beatles.
Expect to hear plenty of reggae, ska, latin, hip hop, dub, funk, house – and even drum and bass – takes on iconic Beatles hits.
Bring your dates and your mates, and get ready to boogie, Beatles Dub Club style. This is gonna be real fun.
