Out of the garage and on to the main stage!

ALWAYS LIVE and internationally acclaimed artist Joseph O’Farrell (JOF) team up to create a stunning new show that gives up to 30 young garage bands the opportunity to perform live in the centre of Melbourne!

Part Block party, part live music TV show, this world premiere allows a platform and opportunity for over 100 young people that have missed out on so much during the pandemic lockdowns, giving them an opportunity to be seen and heard by Melbourne city.

Come along and be inspired by the next generation of rock stars!

Joseph O’Farrell (JOF) is an internationally renowned artist working across performance, installation and socially-engaged live art practice. His work has toured across Australia and the UK, including the TATE Modern (UK), Southbank Centre (UK), Sydney Festival and more. JOF specialises in creating unique large-scale installation and music works with and for communities, bringing people together in hilarious and unlikely situations. You may have seen his smash hit, THOSE WHO ROCK at Hammer Hall which brought together 500 amateur guitarists.
