Srotar Ashor cordially invites you to their next musical program “From the Heart of Bangladesh (Bangladesher Ridoy Hote)” to be held at the majestic Edge Theatre on Saturday, 15 October.
A 50-year celebration of Bangladesh’s music begins with the independence movement and continues to the present day. On this nostalgic journey, Srotar Ashor hopes to reminisce about important milestones along the way, such as George Harrison’s iconic Concert for Bangladesh in August 1971 at Madison Square Garden or the immortal songs of Azam Khan from the 70’s, or the ageless Sabina Yasmin’s playback music of the 80’s, or be it popular band music of the 90’s or fusion music from the new millennium.
Srotar Ashor is looking forward to your company and hopes to share with you a pleasant spring evening of solo, duet and chorus music performed by very gifted and talented artists Abonti, Mowly, Anika, Simin, Shomi, Kakon, Rupa, Himani, Anindo, Razib, Mrinal, Hasan, Saad, Saif, Shahriar, Shanto, Zaki, Binod, Chanchal, Palash, Chironjeet, Amal and most importantly, Srotar Ashor’s next generation, Aari, Rishi, Arani, and Auritro. Atique will be the MC for the evening.
