Learn how to make your own festive door wreath using Australian native flowers and foliage. Together we learn the techniques to build your wreath from the base through to the finer details of arranging the native flowers and foliage into its finished look. Using native flora, these wreaths will look beautiful for many months and dry into lovely Autumn wreaths.

Do you have cats or live in a small apartment? Maybe you are a 70s fan? Well, why not have a flat hanging Christmas tree this year! Join Laneway Learning instructors to learn the basics of wonderful macrame while making your own beautiful tree hanger for home. All materials provided. Macramé, or the art of knotting, is fun, relaxing, doesn’t need specific tools and is a very useful craft. You can make planters, curtains, bags or Christmas decorations.
Not a baker? You can still make your make your own gingerbread house, just using polymer clay! In this workshop you’ll learn how to work with polymer clay and make your own personalised festive ornament. Learn how to mould and cut the clay, add fun details and pipe fake snow for that white Christmas look. There will also be stamps available for you to add names or words to your house.
Come and create your own festive accessories with polymer – a fun and easy-to-use material! Choose your desired colours and utilise different cutting, moulding and shaping techniques, foils, and embossing options to turn your polymer clay into cheery Xmas accessories or decorations. There will be findings available for earrings, rings, hair clips, brooches, pendants as well as decoration hooks. You will learn how to bake your clay so it’s nice and sturdy and ready to adorn your outfit, your ears, or your tree – or gift to a friend!
