Flag at Half-Mast: Mr Harold Mitchell AC

On 13 May the Australian Flag at Fed Square will be flown at half-mast to commemorate the Mr Harold Mitchel AC.

A State Memorial Service for Mr Harold Mitchell AC will be held on Monday 13 May at Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne.

Mr Mitchell’s influence in shaping Australia’s modern media and advertising industry is unmatched. His service to the community and generosity lasted a lifetime as he was driven by a desire to give to others.

Mr Mitchell will be remembered not only for his fierce leadership and professional success, but for his unwavering care as a generous philanthropist and benefactor of the arts, sports, education, and health.
