Getting There

It’s time to sit back and relax for this uber-cool laid back Fed Live set, featuring spacey surf-rock Melbourne-based three-piece, The Grogans, as our headliner.

Also featuring the harmonic dark bluesy rock and gutsy vocals of D’Arcy Spiller and classic blues sounds of Bones and Jones.

D'Arcy Spiller

6pm-6:45pm

D’Arcy Spiller may as yet be an unknown quantity, but her music will transport you to some achingly familiar places. The tender compositions of her debut EP deal with hedonism and hurt, with a voice that could shuck the most brittle heart. For the past two years, Spiller has finessed her sound while living, travelling and studying across Los Angeles, Sydney and Melbourne.

Bones & Jones

7pm-7:45pm

The underlying sound of Bones and Jones is evidently inspired by the greats. The six-piece band from Geelong/Surfcoast area have evolved from the raw sounds of 60’s Nuggets, to writing a duplicitous array of songs. From upbeat catchy pop tunes, with quirky rhythmic affectations, to softer, more vulnerable songs that bear truths far beyond the expectations of young adults. With swaying drums, driven organ and roaring lap-steel, Bones and Jones pay homage to the rock and roll greats while paving the path for their own unique sound.
