Callum Preston
Callum Preston is an artist and designer who works across a wide variety of mediums, with a particular focus on nostalgia.
As a self-taught graphic designer, he has created imagery for bands and brands worldwide. Additionally, he has held multiple solo art shows and completed commercial projects in mural painting and other forms of activation. His art installations and interactive works aim to transport viewers to another time or place, provoking them to reflect on their own memories and experiences while sharing his own.
Most recently, Callum’s 2024 “VIDEO LAND” project opened as part of “JOY” at the Immigration Museum in Melbourne and has been widely celebrated as a moving and joyful time capsule experience reminiscent of a classic suburban video store.
Louie Roots
Louie is an artist and maker working in games and interactive media.
Growing up in the south west of Western Australian, his fascination with hardware and games turned into a career that crunches up videogame culture with the suburban Australian aesthetic.
Having shown everywhere from London’s V&A Museum to ACMI, his playful, social creations turn spaces into experiences – inviting strangers to stop, play, and connect.
Louie is the creative mind behind SK Games, Bar SK, and now Ratbag – a creative media studio specialising in interactive works, public installations, and experiences that blur the line between play, art and utility.
