Getting There

Come explore Cupid’s Koi Garden by ENESS this summer at Kaleidosquare!

A riot of vibrant colour, Cupid’s Koi Garden is an immersive, six-metre-high giant fountain – a school of koi fish surrounding the cheeky cherub, Cupid.

Cupid is an artificially intelligent being who is on a mission to spread love and joyfulness.

But watch out! Cupid and his Koi are watching you, and they’re ready to spray water on anyone who gets too close!

Featuring 360-degree tracking technology, Cupid’s Koi Garden by ENESS is a wonder of art and science – and a must-visit destination this summer!

Fed Square is pleased to present to you Cupid’s Koi Garden by ENESS for its world debut, as part of the Kaleidosquare summer program.

ENESS is an Australian art and technology studio that makes innovative interactive art installations designed to move, inspire and be remembered.

Comprising a multi-disciplinary team of creatives including artists, software engineers, musicians, writers and thinkers, they create work that speaks to what it means to be human.

For two decades, ENESS has successfully exhibited work in the US, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Middle East, Europe and across Australia for festivals, art galleries and museums, including: MORI Art Museum’s Art Night; White Night, Melbourne; Museum of Contemporary Art Taipei; Canary Wharf, London; and national festivals in Australia including Illuminate Adelaide, The Adelaide Festival, The Brisbane Festival and The Sydney Festival.

Fed Square and ENESS also brought Sky Castle to Fed Square in 2020 – and now present to you the world debut of Cupid’s Koi Garden.
