Come celebrate International Women’s Day on 8 March with members of the emergency management sector! ? ?
Fed Square will come alive with exciting live demonstrations, interactive displays and flashy emergency service vehicles. We will be showcasing how the sector works together to protect and serve our diverse Victorian communities.
Representatives from our Fire and Rescue Services, Police, Ambulance, State Emergency Service, Life Saving Victoria, Red Cross and Emergency Management Victoria will be available to talk about their day and night jobs and the many recruitment opportunities for people of all genders.
Experience for yourself the challenging recruitment exercises, fitness demonstrations, historical exhibitions and photos. Explore the world of mapping and investigations or settle in with the little ones for a story time session with the firefighters themselves!
Story time will run from 11:00am – 12:00pm in the main square. Click here find out more about story time.
