Candlelight Concerts
Experience the magic of intimate starlit evening performances by original artists, surrounded by thousands of twinkling candles, against the backdrop of Fed Square’s iconic architecture.
The summertime open air favourite is back, by popular demand. Over three nights, original artists across various genres including rock, gospel, R&B and soul will perform live, by candlelight and under the stars.
Emerging Melbourne-based Ethiopian songstress Soli will perform gospel-inspired R&B originals; Melbourne’s own ARIA Hall of Fame rock legend Ross Wilson together with his band The Peaceniks will be bringing the classics; and to celebrate Waitangi Day, Māori artist Teeks will perform by Candlelight, performing soulful tunes.
Bring a picnic blanket and gather your friends for an enchanting evening of Candlelight concerts, complete with delicious tacos, nachos and more from the Taco Truck on site for every performance.
These performances will be AUSLAN interpreted and an accessible viewing area will also be available.
Tuesday 4 February, from 8.30pm
Experience the deeply soulful sounds of Melbourne-based Ethiopian artist, Soli, and she performs her R&B-infused originals and covers, by Candlelight.
Wednesday 5 February, from 8.30pm
Out of the rock venue and under the stars, local rock legend Ross Wilson performs a stripped-back, intimate concert by Candlelight with his band The Peaceniks.
Thursday 6 February, from 8.30pm
In celebration of New Zealand’s national day, Waitangi Day, Māori artist Teeks will perform a special, soulful concert by Candlelight.
