After a hugely popular 2022 season – be prepared to be enchanted by a brand-new program of unforgettable Candlelight Concerts under the stars.

As night falls and the glow of thousands of twinkling candles surrounds a circle of musicians, you’ll be transported on an intimate sonic adventure through a range of genres, from classic soul to pop.

The stunning, award-winning architecture of Fed Square will create a beautiful backdrop for this one-of-a-kind experience, perfect for music lovers of all kinds.

Each concert we’ll also have free ice cream from Cups n Cones available for the first 150 people from 7.30pm on 9 and 14 February, and on 16 February it’ll be for the first 500 people from 7.30pm!

Don’t miss out on these special evenings – mark your calendars for Thursday 9 February for Queer Icons, Tuesday 14 February for Valentine’s Day with Soul and Thursday 16 February with Jarryd James.

You are welcome to bring your own chair, but please leave the green turf rounds free for those without to sit and view the performances comfortably.

Since July 2019, Fever Originals has produced a series of classical music, best of pop/ rock / cinema concerts in a candlelit setting, situated in some of the most intimate and undiscovered venues all over the world, from Paris, to Madrid, Lisbon to New York.

Queer Icons

8pm, Thursday 9 February

Join us for a special evening celebrating Midsumma Festival and showcasing queer music icons. The performance will feature music from Elton John, David Bowie, George Michael, ABBA and more, featuring LGBTQIA+ performers and allies. This concert will be an inclusive and safe space for all, so come enjoy some of your favorite songs under the glow of thousands of twinkling candles.

Valentine’s Day with Soul featuring TINO

8pm, Tuesday 14 February

This Valentine’s Day concert will feature soulful music sung by TINO. With his passion for music stemming from his influential Samoan heritage and love for gospel and soul records, TINO’s live performances showcase his accomplished musical and vocal style, as well as his friendly, down-to-earth charm. Featuring a set list of classic hits including My Girl, Let’s Get It On and Can’t Help Falling In Love, this is sure to be a memorable and romantic way to spend Valentine’s Day with your loved one.

Jarryd James

8pm, Thursday 16 February

Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jarryd James will perform at our final Candlelight Concert for 2023 – sure to be a popular one. With more than 480 million streams, a top 5 ARIA album, and two triple platinum-selling singles, Jarryd James has made a huge impact on the music industry. This intimate performance will be the perfect opportunity to see Jarryd in action under the glow of thousands of twinkling candles.
