About AMSO:
Operating since 2016, AMSO brings together medical students from across the country each year to a chosen Australian city for a charity concert. The purpose of their event is to provide an opportunity for musicians within the medical community to continue their passion for music and form strong bonds with medical colleagues from around the country while raising funds for charities involved with various health issues. This year, AMSO is returning to their roots in Melbourne where they have previously held concerts in 2016 and 2019, after the highly successful Sydney 2022 concert. In line with their passion for using music to benefit both medical student wellbeing and the wider community, and keeping with their Melbournian traditions, AMSO will once again be partnering with Beyond Blue and Very Special Kids, the only paediatric hospice in Victoria. Proceeds from ticket sales in their concert will be donated to these organisations.
