Use a portable press to press plants and watch tannins work their magic, creating unique prints. Experiment with different fabrics, discover cool Indigenous plants, and take home your own nature-inspired artwork. It’s a hands-on, creative adventure you won’t want to miss!
The exhibition features stunning creations by eight visionary First Peoples Designers from the KHT’s Blak Design Program 2024 and celebrates First Peoples fashion and textiles as powerful expressions of culture, history and identity. The pieces in the exhibition blend rich cultural traditions with bold contemporary design expression, seamlessly interweaving the history and identity of each individual designer.
These tours uncover the hidden histories and stories of Narrm. Led by a First Peoples guide, the tours provide a unique opportunity to touch and hold replica artifacts, including a possum-skin cloak, clap sticks, and a spear-thrower, while learning about their cultural significance.

Sharpen up your observational drawing skills with a local artist in these drop-by drawing sessions just for teens. These sessions are created especially for secondary school students aged 12 to 18 years. No prior art experience is required, and all materials will be provided.
