Join us for the Angels of War: Remembering Australia Army Nurses exhibition at Fed Square this July 22-24th! This is an innovative outdoor digital media exhibition to commemorate the historical contributions, sacrifices, and stories of the Australian army nurses.
Learn about stories and discover 3D artefacts of Australian army nurses through our unique Augmented Reality (AR) trail at Fed Oasis – simply scan the QR codes on the coffee tables using your mobile device.
Watch a short scenario unfold through the eyes of an Australian army nurse through our Virtual Reality (VR) experience – we’ll have a station setup with a Meta (Oculus) Quest – or simply hang out in the Main Square and watch the Digital Façade to learn about the history of Australian army nurses.
This exhibition is prepared by RMIT Digital Media Senior Lecturer Dr Li Ping Thong and students in partnership with Fed Square. Angels of War was supported by the Victorian Government and the Victorian Veterans Council.
