Social Media & Content Specialist

The Social Media & Content Specialist is an integral part of the Customer Experience (CX) team. The prime responsibility of this role is to manage social media and content creation to drive positive brand awareness and increase audience engagement with Fed Square.

The Social Media & Content Specialist is an integral part of the Customer Experience (CX) team. The CX team focusses on building Fed Square’s reputation as a globally iconic, world-class, and cohesive destination. CX is responsible for the strategic leadership and performance of new commercial venue initiatives as well as effective and quality engagement with the general public, community groups, stakeholders, commercial clients/partners and the media for Fed Square.

The prime responsibility of this role is to manage social media and content creation to drive positive brand awareness and increase audience engagement with Fed Square.

Key responsibilities of the role

  • Drive audience engagement across Fed Square’s social media platforms
  • Manage the social media calendar in collaboration with the wider marketing plan to build awareness of Fed Square’s campaigns, brand and programming offer
  • Develop and deliver engaging short and long form content through copywriting, videography, and photography
  • Generate fresh content ideas to engage with our current audience and build our digital community
  • Facilitate, monitor and respond to comments and customer queries on social accounts in line with brand tone and social media guidelines

Your experience

  • 3-5 years’ hands-on social media management and content experience, with a deep understanding of using social channels to build engaged audiences
  • Outstanding copywriting skills and experience writing for social media, website and email content and videography and photography
  • Experience using social media analytical and scheduling tools (Hootsuite & Sprout etc), and the ability to make recommendations to redirect marketing strategies based on findings
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube etc)
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with enthusiasm

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
