A very merry festive season for all
The big Christmas Tree, Santa’s Workshop and the Pillar of Lights festival will set Fed Square aglow this year, as Victorians head to the heart of Melbourne to celebrate the meaning of the holiday season. It will be about family, friends, community and human connection, and this year, we’re excited to unveil to the public a brand-new installation by A Blanck Canvas, the Fed Christmas Gulls: enormous, Christmas-themed, light-up gulls that are set to be a festive season highlight and social media drawcard.
We are also partnering with NGV, together with leading RMIT architecture, art and design creatives Dr Leanne Zilka and Dr Jenny Underwood, to transform the Atrium into an immersive art-experience, featuring huge glowing sculptures – bright, vibrant beacons of joy and a visual feast for art-lovers and culture buffs alike.
