The all-glass amphitheatre of The Edge boasts optimised acoustic engineering, able to host chamber orchestra music. The Edge’s large screen can be used for film screenings, for animations to support live music or DJ performances or presentations for corporate events and public talks.
The Edge provides direct access to The Atrium, with the opportunity to use both venues for larger events.
At night, the fractal glass walls of The Edge light up – and can be customised for your event.

Fed Square and Zinc have partnered to bring you a total experience, with wedding ceremonies in The Edge, and then celebrations in Zinc’s recently transformed space, where the vibrant pulse of Melbourne’s CBD meets the tranquil flow of the Birrarung (Yarra River). Whether your dream wedding is an opulent sit-down dinner or stylish cocktail soiree, Zinc are experts at delivering a restaurant quality experience on a large scale, setting the stage for memories that last long after the final dance.

The Edge Foyer
400 sqm of space at the entrance to The Edge theatre, which takes advantage of the venue’s striking fractal glass and high-vaulted ceilings.

The Edge Terrace
An outdoor promenade connecting The Edge to Skyline Terrace, The Edge Terrace is a tucked away venue in the heart of the city.
Boasting views over the Birrarung (Yarra River) and towards the Melbourne Arts Centre spire, the Edge Terrace is ideal for market stalls, extending the usable space within The Atrium and The Edge.
The Greenroom
Architecturally designed space adjoining The Edge, complete with large relaxation area, kitchenette, live-to-stage visuals, make-up mirrors, power access, toilets and changerooms.
The Edge Amphitheatre
This gently sloping, softly grassed outdoor space connects The Edge to River Terrace, offering an ideal venue for relaxed outdoor performances with a first-class view of Melbourne’s Birrarung (Yarra River) and the famous Melbourne Arts Centre spire.
This space can also be booked to extend the usable picnicking space along River Terrace during markets and festivals.
