The Winter Village

The Winter Village is a euro-style winter wonderland atop the Skyline Terrace at Fed Square that will pop-up from May 2 through to the end of September 2019. Set to be Melbourne’s landmark destination this winter, The Winter Village will be equipped with an ice skating rink, a cozy igloo village, a larger-than-life mega igloo where it snows on the hour, a Graze kitchen and a Sip bar. Melburnians can look forward to speciality winter-themed food and beverage menus, pop-up bars, after-dark activations with local Melbourne DJs, competitions and private igloo experiences galore!

Heart of darkness: Virtual Reality Performance

A live virtual-reality experience set on the dwarf planet Ceres, where Astro-biologist Captain Kurtz has gone missing from his outpost. Taking an interactive first-person role, your mission is to retrieve Kurtz, and as you journey deep into the Ceres cave network you will learn the story of Kurtz’ disappearance!

Little Rockers Red Nose Day

An extraordinary garden of hundreds of hand-knitted, woollen flowers, created by Lynn Berry OAM and contributors following the tremendous success of 5000 Poppies. Hung in Fed Square, creating a vibrant woollen jungle to brighten Melbourne’s winter, the Winter Garden is a creative visual delight!
