Experience all the great things that Greater Shepparton has to offer as Federation Square becomes Shepp Square during this April.

You can treat the kids these school holidays to free and low cost fun with a range of activities on offer. There will be everything from bobbing for apples, Indigenous dancing and African hair braiding.

There will also be an abundance of fresh local produce from Greater Shepparton – an area well known as the ‘Foodbowl of Australia.’

This festival will provide an opportunity to see why Greater Shepparton is a great place to live – there will be something for everyone this April at Shepp Square.

Foodbowl Day

Monday 9 April 2018
10am – 5pm

Greater Shepparton is Australia’s Foodbowl producing 25 per cent of Victoria’s fresh produce. See just how much fun food can be. Find the daily schedule here.

 

 

Indigenous Day

Yorta Yorta (the Greater Shepparton tribe) invites you to enjoy a day of celebrating their culture. See what’s planned here.

 

 

Multicultural Day

Shepparton is proud of the region’s extensive migration history dating back to World War I, which has resulted in a rich diverse community made up of over 30 nationalities who speak more than 50 languages! Plan your day here.

 

 

Art on a Plate Day

Thursday April 12

10am – 5pm

Whether it’s a life performance on a stage or a secret garden, an exhibition in a hall, or a festival celebrating cultural diversity, Greater Shepparton has a depth of arts and culture like no other regional Victorian destination. See what’s planned here.

The Great Outdoors Day

Friday April 13

10am – 5pm

Greater Shepparton is regional Australia’s sporting hub, including being home to the international standard sporting facility, Shepparton Sports City. On April 13, there will be a chance to come and meet some of the regions sporting greats. See who will be visiting here.

 

Foodbowl Day

Please note, due to the weather, Foodbowl Day on Saturday 14 April has been cancelled
