African youth are much in the news in Melbourne, but how widespread is the problem? Are Melburnians so tyrannised that they fear to go out to dinner, as Federal Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton alleged? Are Sudanese youth out of control, or is an entire community being unfairly stigmatised and stereotyped? What is the Sudanese migrant community doing about youth crime?

In the first Federation Square Archbishop’s Conversation for 2018, Melbourne Anglican Archbishop Philip Freier talks to two people who really know from the inside: young lawyer and social activist Nyadol Nyuon and Anglican minister and community leader Chaplain Soma.
