Dr Xavier Csar has extensive executive experience leading state and regional development, investment attraction and economic policy in the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments including as CEO of Regional Development Victoria and Assistant Secretary for South Eastern Australia in the Department of Regional Australia, Local Government, Arts and Sport. More recently, Dr Csar led the TAFE division of the Victorian Department of Education to deliver the Government’s ambitious TAFE and post-compulsory school education participation and training agenda.
Dr Csar is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, has an MBA from RMIT University and a PhD and B.Sc. degree from Monash University.
Suzana has over 20 years’ experience in the events industry. Suzana’s experience includes leadership roles with some of Melbourne’s most esteemed event organisations including the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), The Australian Grand Prix and The Royal Agriculture Society (Royal Melbourne Show).
During her time as General Manager of the Club Melbourne Ambassador Program at MCEC, Suzana led the rebranding and relaunch of the prestigious program responsible for attracting international business events to the City of Melbourne.
Suzana is experienced in delivering customer experience strategies incorporating marketing, PR, commercial and programming activities. Suzana is an advocate for the tourism and visitor economy. Suzana is a Committee Member of the Victorian Tourism Industry Council Attractions Committee and the Vice-Chair of the board of Meetings & Events Australia – MEA. Suzana is an alumnus of the Committee for Melbourne’s Future Focus Group program, has a Masters in Advertising from RMIT University and is currently completing her Executive MBA.
Sharon has over a decade of extensive senior management experience in Facilities Management and Operations globally across the operations, legal, media and catering sectors.
At Fed Square she oversees Finance, People and Performance, IT, Capital Asset Planning and Replacement, Environmental Sustainability, Security and Emergency Management, OH&S, Accessibility, Planned and Reactive Maintenance, Tenancy Management, Cleaning and Waste Management. As an active advocate for the Facilities Management industry.
Sharon is a member of the Board of the Facility Management Association of Australia and sits on their national Diversity Portfolio Group. She is an alumni of the Committee for Melbourne’s Future Focus Group program and is completing her MBA.
Her broad range of “hands-on” international experience are underpinned by qualifications in Work Health and Safety, Project Management and Live Production (Theatre and Events, Lighting).
Sharon has a passion for Environmental Sustainability (seen in her guidance of Fed Square to achieving carbon neutral status) and OH&S and Emergency preparedness.
