<h2>Welcome to Chocolate Buddha.</h2>
<p>We are thrilled to be in our 20th year of operation here at the iconic Fed Square. In late 2019 we re-opened after a lengthy and transformative renovation and we have a wonderfully warm and inviting aesthetic in a lovely environment with amazing views of our beautiful city skyline.</p>
<p>We offer tasty, fresh sushi, bento, ramen and donburi and have a beautiful bespoke sushi train with express bullet train. Our trains operate Wednesday to Sunday 12pm-3pm and 5pm-8pm.</p>
<p>In addition to our menu, we offer 3 set menus – Ichi, Ni and San. These menus are available for 2 or more guests and are designed to be shared and enjoyed with family and friends. We hope to welcome you soon.</p>

<p>The Main Square is one of the biggest and most popular outdoor venues in all of Melbourne. 10,000-people capacity, direct access to Flinders St Station and other high-traffic transport stops, our loud and proud Digital Façade, our stage area with state-of-the-art sound system and far more besides.</p>
<p>The Square has naturally become Melbourne’s traditional meeting points, and even when unbooked it’s packed to the brim with visitors and natural foot traffic.</p>
<p>Plus of course there’s immediate access to nearly everything in Fed Square: ACMI, The Atrium, <a href="http://www.fedsquare.com/venue-hire/river-terrace">Riverside Terrace</a> (plus, of course, the Yarra river itself), The Edge, The Ian Potter Centre, oodles of bars, cafes galleries and more!</p>

<h2>Big Esso by Mabu Mabu is an all-day bar and kitchen now open at Fed Square, on the land of the peoples of the Kulin Nation.</h2>
<p>We are proud to have Big Esso in the Square as they bring Indigenous food and culture back to the banks of Birrarung (Yarra). This River was once an eel breeding ground; where shark, dolphin and stingrays could be found.</p>
<p>​This place was a main source of food, hunting, cooking, and ceremony. By sharing food in this place, we hope to bring these stories back to the forefront of our culinary conversations.</p>
<p>​&#8217;Big Esso&#8217; is an expression in the Torres Strait. It’s a slang term that means ‘the biggest thank you.’ This is what you say when you really want to express your gratitude. When combined, ‘Mabu Mabu &amp; Big Esso’ is what you would say before kicking-off a celebration like no other.</p>
<p>​Big Esso is a place to meet friends and strangers. Their mission has always been to make Indigenous foods accessible to a wide audience. You don’t have to have a degustation menu (but they will feed you if you ask). It’s a place anyone can go to and try something uniquely Australian for under $20.</p>
<p>All of their tables are communal, so grab a seat and have a yarn with the people either side of you, listen to their ‘Island Radio’ featuring blak musicians and Australian classics, and order a drink from a list of Indigenous owned businesses, social enterprise brewers, and amazing distillers using Indigenous ingredients.</p>
<p>Expect to find a menu that is full of incredible Indigenous flavours, as well as sustainably caught seafood. They’re bringing to Melbourne the relaxed, very casual dining of Australia’s tropical north. Dig into a bucket of king prawns with crisp native succulents along with a cold beer, and lather them with their house made hot sauces (pineapple hot sauce, green tomato hot sauce, organic sriracha).</p>
<p>You’ll also find traditional Torres Strait dishes like Namas (coconut cured ocean fish), along with tropical painted crayfish. They’re excited to introduce their take on chilli crab &#8211; an incredible share plate of blue swimmers in a hot pepperberry sauce with karkalla and Neptune’s beard (seaweed).</p>
<p>Big Esso will also feature amazing vegan dishes. Nornie is on a mission to make yams sexy again. Expect to find spiced kasavas and purple yams, as well as Torres Strait vegan dishes like Sop Sop.</p>

<p>Transit Rooftop Bar is one of Melbourne’s best late-night venues, featuring live music from Thursday through to Sunday nights, with jazz, blues, reggae, acoustic, and ska musicians taking over the rooftop. This bar with the incredible view oozes good times.</p>

<p>Whether you are looking for a spot to catch up with friends, enjoy a tasty pizza or just surf our Beer Bible, the ground level Salon and Beer Garden is perfect.  For a quick lunch, tasty snack or just a coffee, you can’t go past our Café in the Atrium.  The Grill at Beer DeLuxe, located at the top of Fed Square, is where you’ll find juicy steaks and other grill classics, a great range of BeerFood dishes, and traditional burgers from the Burger Bar.  A beer lover’s dream and the perfect spot for after-work drinks, Beer DeLuxe is at home in Melbourne’s CBD with its cosmopolitan beer and food concept.</p>

<p><strong>Fracture Gallery</strong></p>
<p>The Fracture Gallery is a highly-visible enclosed glass space in the wall of The Atrium, ideal for exhibitions and artistic installations and intimately visible to both visitors to The Atrium and passers-by on the street outside.</p>
<p><strong>Air Gallery</strong></p>
<p>Infrastructure and artistic works can be suspended from the ceiling of The Atrium in a large open-air gallery, visible from The Edge to the street at the other end of The Atrium, and even across the road by Hosier Lane Forum Theatre.</p>
<p><strong>The Cantilever</strong></p>
<p>The northern end The Atrium, under the glass cantilever, is a 6m x 3m area ripe for commercial, promotional and retail displays, perfectly positioned to act in sync with The Edge.</p>


<h2>A people&#8217;s piazza &amp; stylish market hub</h2>
<p>The Atrium is a magnificent galleria of glass and steel and a peerless indoor venue for exhibitions, product displays, launches, artistic installations, showcases and markets.</p>
<p>The space is home to some of Melbourne’s most visited galleries, cafes and specialty stores, including The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia and NGV Design Store.</p>
<p>The central floor space is complemented by the Fracture Gallery, with the steel frame of the building providing excellent points for rigging installations. The Atrium also provides direct access to The Edge theatre, with the flexibility to use both venues as part of a larger festival, event or exhibition.</p>

<p>Time Out Fed Square is located in the heart of Melbourne, where people come together every day. <p>Whatever your need &#8211; a quick coffee, leisurely cocktails or just a bite with friends &#8211; Time Out offers an all-day menu. Enjoy extensive share plates, gourmet pizzas and modern Australian mains like chicken parmigiana topped with hickory-smoked ham, or fish and chips made from Coldstream pilsner battered Lake’s Entrance flathead tails, to name a few.</p>
<p>The breakfast menu is served until 3:00 pm every day, so visitors can indulge in buttermilk pancakes or enjoy classics like eggs benedict until the afternoon.</p>
<p>Time Out’s thirst-quenchers are delicious summery drinks, with fresh fruit and soda over ice. As well as an extensive coffee and cocktail menu, visitors can also enjoy alcoholic warm drinks like Baileys Hot Chocolate, the Spiced Friar (with organic chai syrup mixed with Frangelico, warm milk and sprinkled cinnamon), The Jamaican (a double shot of espresso mixed with Tia Maria and Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum) plus many more inventive concoctions.</p>
