William Elm
William Elm is an accordionist and experimental avant-composer. He uses traditional instruments to create intricate and compelling music that breaks stereotype.
Having performed with Amanda Palmer, Brendan Maclean and Kate Miller-Heidke, the last few years has seen William release his own music with debut album ‘Metamorphica’ and EP duo ‘Spectrum’.
William has also been part of Melbourne Fringe with queer chamber suite ‘Cocoon’ and eight hour piano improvisation ‘Sustenance’; performed a Pauline Oliveros accordion tribute; and raised over $600 for the Russian LGBT Network with single ‘One’.
